The Red Wine

Alc. 13.5% | 60% Cabernet Sauvignon – 40% Syrah
A remarkable blend of the cosmopolitan Cabernet Sauvignon and the noble Syrah. This wine displays a deep ruby color and offers rich aromas of black fruits, vanilla, coffee, and spices. Its smooth, slightly sweet taste enchants the palate and leaves a lingering sense of pleasure. Vinification: Cold soaking before and after fermentation enhances the extraction of aromas and color. After crushing, the wine is aged for twelve months in barrels made of Greek oak from Mount Pindos. These barrels are crafted in Metsovo by local artisans who have inherited the traditional art of wood-making through generations. Interestingly, the same craftsmen also produce barrels used in the aging of Greek feta cheese. Greek oak imparts a more delicate influence on the wine compared to typical French oak, helping to develop a refined and mature flavor profile that truly stands out.
