The Pogues

The Pogues is a blended whisky named after the Irish band The Pogues. The story behind it, is that a collaboration between whisky producer West Cork Distillers and the band members began in 2015. The whisky was released in 2016 and is a blend of three types of Irish whisky: malt, grain and pot still. The name was chosen by Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan and the company’s producer John O’Connell.
