Alexakis Kotsifali Syrah<\/strong> is an age-worthy red wine that harmoniously combines the indigenous Cretan variety Kotsifali with Syrah. Extended ageing for 16 months in oak barrels and an additional 6 months in bottle allows the wine to develop depth, structure and aromatic complexity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color. The aromatic profile is rich and expressive, with intense fruit aromas complemented by notes of vanilla and sweet spices derived from oak ageing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the palate, the wine delivers a full body with beautiful velvety tannins that support juicy flavors of cherry and plum. The balance between fruit, oak and acidity creates harmony and length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The complexity on the nose and the balanced structure on the palate make this wine well suited for ageing, allowing it to evolve further over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This red wine pairs particularly well with red meats, rich stews and dishes with intense flavors. Best enjoyed at the appropriate serving temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
